July 12 2012 Hacker News Tokyo Japan Meetup #15
On July 12, 2012 GMO Cloud hosted the Hacker News Tokyo Japan Meetup, organized by MakeLeaps, in our communication space, GMO Yours.
It was a great meetup, and a lot of fun meeting old and new friends who read Hacker News and who are into the business and technology scene. People tweeted using the hashtag #hntokyo and we followed on the Tweet wall.
Our guests are interested in all kinds of internet related technology for web, cloud and mobile devices for the B-to-C and B-to-B markets. Attendees included engineers, programmers, coders, social media experts, digital signage experts, angel investors and software developers.
GMO Cloud provided the event space, press wall, food and drinks. 75% of proceeds from the entry fee will be donated to the Tyler Foundation, a non profit organization which supports children with cancer in Japan and their families.
