The world-class facility boasts outstanding construction: steel-reinforced, poured-in-place concrete floors and walls and extensive support columns. It is designed with new units for HVAC temperature control systems, a double inter-lock pre-action fire system, redundant Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and Power Distribution Units (PDU) as well as 24x7 secured access.
Situated on the fiber networks of more than ten major carriers, including four synchronous optical network (SONET) rings, this data center is located within a block of a downtown power substation, delivering critical power redundancy. Security is reinforced by a keycard system for building entry. Closed-circuit, IP-accessible video surveillance with tape backup provides additional monitoring.
